2 bear ranch will be a working cattle ranch with a primary mission of providing a safe therapuetic independent living environment for persons with various mental illnesses who would otherwise be institutionalized in a mental health facility. 2 Bear Ranch is dedicated to helping people with mental illness. We need your help and support to make this mission successful.
I hope you can help us to help people who suffer from mental illness. It has been well documented that persons with mental illness more readily respond
to treatment when they are given the opportunity to interact with and care for animals. This is refered to as animal assisted therapy. Not only can this interaction be therapeutic, it can also lead to opportunities for the person to become less dependent on government funding for daily living expenses as well as medical care through the development of skills that can lead to employment. The mission of this ranch will be to serve as a therapeutic and learning environment for people who would otherwise be living in an assisted living facility, group home or hospital.
